It goes without saying that Crystal Palace need a striker. Big time. Their last outing against Chelsea saw them fail to register a single shot on target, and meant that they have scored just five Premier League goals at home so far in the 2018/19 season.
Reinforcements in that department are a must this month. There have been several names thrown around, including Dominic Solanke who appears to be close to securing a move to SE25, but another man who is on the market for a cut-price fee and managed to score 25 goals last season is Nice forward Mario Balotelli.
The highly controversial Italian forward has, and always will come as a risk to any club that signs him for the rest of his career, but there is no denying his talent.
