Other than dropping two points at home, the German giants also dealt with a major blow as star forward Kane was seen limping off the pitch in the 86th minute with a hurt ankle after a duel with Amine Adli. Thomas Muller had replaced the former Tottenham striker.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Kane will undergo tests in the next couple of days before the club can confirm if the player's injury is serious. Kompany was asked about his star player's status after the game to which he told Sky Sports: "I'm not a doctor, but I hope that maybe it will be enough for Wednesday."
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen added: "He took a hit. But as the doctors said, it's probably nothing serious. We'll have to look at it again tomorrow."
