Le Havre centre-back Harold Moukoudi has revealed that he turned down the chance to join Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.
Indeed, speaking to France Bleu, Moukoudi said that he travelled to England for talks with Villa boss Steve Bruce during the summer before rejecting a move.
Bruce is not too popular with the majority of Villa fans at the moment, and a number have now taken to social media to claim that the 57-year-old was the reason why the club were unable to sign Moukoudi.

West Ham United had also previously been linked with a move for the 20-year-old, who plays his football in Ligue 2.
It would have been some statement if Villa had managed to secure the Frenchman’s services, but ultimately Mile Jedinak is currently playing centre-back with James Chester.
