Luka Milivojevic has made a subtle plea to the Crystal Palace chairman for help, as reported by London News Online.
What did he say?
The Eagles have been hit hard by injuries in recent times, with the report naming Scott Dann, Gary Cahill, Joel Ward, Jeffrey Schlupp and Andros Townsend among those who have been missing.
This hard luck has forced Roy Hodgson to play around with his squad, getting every last bit out of them that he can, which he attempted against Newcastle United by putting youngsters on the bench and Cheikhou Kouyate in the heart of defence.

With that considered, Milivojevic, who has scored 22 times in the last two campaigns, hinted that Steve Parish needs to help ease the burden through the January transfer window: “
We don’t have a deep enough squad and I can say that today, especially. We had four players from our academy that have never played in the Premier League, which shows that we’re in some kind of trouble.

“We have a very good chairman, I hope he’s going to find some solution to help us.”
“The problem is when you sacrifice — today we had two players with injuries. We were in doubt about whether they would start and how much they could play.”
In need of recruits
Palace didn’t do anything massive in the summer transfer window, with Gary Cahill, Jordan Ayew and James McCarthy being the main players to come in and make an impact.
Aside from that, Victor Camarasa joined on loan and made a solitary five-minute cameo in the league as well as playing in the Carabao Cup loss against Colchester United. Meanwhile, free signing Stephen Henderson has made the bench three times in all competitions.
The indication, especially after the aforementioned injuries, is that Palace need to make more signings so that Hodgson has extra options at his disposal.

With the January transfer window approaching quickly, players Palace have been linked with include Ozan Tufan and Olivier Giroud.
In other news, it has been suggested that Palace should only sign one of their other targets as a last resort.
