Fati, who graduated from Barcelona's famed La Masia, made his senior debut for the club in 2019. He spent the entire 2023-24 campaign on loan at Brighton before heading back to the Blaugrana last summer in a bid to revive his career under Hansi Flick. However, his journey did not go as planned, as the German coach gave him only 11 appearances in the entire season, and the player clocked just 298 minutes on the pitch.
